Well, my dearest friends, it is with great pleasure that I announce that we are having a great time on tour! Currently we are in Coleman, Alberta at the Blackbird Coffee house. We had a great show here last night. Such an amazing building! It is a church that has been converted into a coffeeshop/house.
We have had a pretty beautiful time playing music together this past few days - we have Zoe Guigeno on the upright bass this time. Zoe and Adam played in their first 2 bands together and have known eachother for ever. We flew Zoe out to the west coast from Toronto where she has been going to music school. She has picked up our material amazingly quickly and the four of us, Zoe, Ryan, Adam, and I are locking in very splendidly as a four-piece. Today we are off to Calgary for a couple days off, then Monday in Lethbridge and an all-night powerdrive across the prairies the next day to Winnipeg.
Also, I just found out that we will be reporting on the WCMAs in Brandon, MB for BC Musician Magazine. That is bound to be a lot of fun!
